"No researchers in this field have ever, to our knowledge, grafted the thermometer record onto any reconstruction. It is somewhat disappointing to find this specious claim (which we usually find originating from industry-funded climate disinformation websites) appearing in this forum."

 Welcome to Climate Applications

Welcome to Climate Applications (CA)! Here at CA you will find a number of useful applications and resources on the subject of anthroprogenic global warming (AGW)/anthroprogenic climate change (ACC). You can find out some history about why this web site has been setup ands what motivates us to keep maintaining it by visiting our About page.

Following the release of the University of East Anglia (UEA) Climatic Research Unit's (CRU) emails in November 2009, CA quickly set up an application to enable the contents of the CRU emails to be easily searched by author, subject and their email content by keywords. If you wish you can use this facility by clicking on the following link. Note when the login form is displayed the username to use is pjones and the password themanbehindthecurtain.

Shortly afterwards CA and a number of other amateur bloggers began to analysis the world's historical temperature datasets with a view to accessing claims of 'unprecedented' late 20th century global warming. To assist in this exercise CA has developed the TEKTemp database and application and has used TEKTemp to derive termperature trends (rates of warming/cooling in temperature for each and every weather station that forms part of the NCDC Global Climate Historical Network (GHCN) and NASA GISS datasets.
